J. L.

J.L. was drafted into the Army following high school graduation where he cooked in the officer's mess. The Army wouldn't take him without a name (only initials) so he became John Leo to the military. He married Faye, his high school sweetheart, in 1946.

Baseball and farming have been his passion his whole life, even though he enjoys all sports.  He bowled a 299 game during his bowling hey-dey.

He has been called Hog most of his life because he was born on Ground-Hog Day.
